All new automatic Lantech stretch wrappers now come with the advanced Lantech Intelligent Network Connection (LINC) technology. LINC technology helps customers monitor their stretch wrapper’s key performance indicators, detect minor issues early on and make troubleshooting easier.
LINC’s remote technology is able to monitor our customer’s Lantech stretch wrappers on an ongoing basis, providing customers with key data from a distance. Customers are now able to set performance targets, monitor machine performance, and more without having to be next to the machine to review metrics.
Small changes in wrap profiles can go undetected for long periods of time. These changes can cause the stretch wrapper to use more stretch film per pallet, which can cost our customers a great deal of money as time goes on. With wrap profiles changing throughout the day, load quality can also suffer causing pallets to be wrapped incorrectly. Detecting these changes will ensure the wrapper is always working and remains at optimal performance.
Throughout the day, many stretch wrappers will go through periods of downtime. This downtime can cost your company time and money if not properly monitored. Stretch wrappers can stop working for many different reasons, including operator pause, backing up of pallets, and machine malfunction. LINC technology provides management with key insights into how their Lantech stretch wrappers are operating on a day-to-day basis, from the comfort of their remote office.
